Purpose: TxDOT invites interested citizens to attend an open house to review and comment on a proposed alignment for a new section of SH 11. No formal presentation is planned; attendees may come and go at their convenience. Staff will be available to discuss the project.
Description: This project will run approximately 3.5 miles from SH 19 in Sulphur Springs to the White Oak Creek bridge.

The new location will improve safety by alleviating sharp curves and offering a straighter roadway for drivers. The proposed roadway will be 44-feet-wide and provide two 12-foot driving lanes with 10-foot shoulders.

Right of way will be required but an estimated amount is not available at this time.

The environmental review, consultation and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by TxDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated Dec. 16, 2014, and executed by FHWA and TxDOT.
