TxDOT began developing the project’s schematic design and environmental assessment in November 2017. The first public meeting was held on Jan. 15, 2019. Three alternatives were presented to the public for comments and feedback. The second public meeting was held on June 25, 2019. The recommended alternative was presented to the public for comments and feedback. The recommended alternative, shown at the second public meeting, is available below.
TxDOT is taking public comments regarding the recommended alternative through July 11, 2019. Based on feedback, the team will develop a preferred alternative, which will be presented at the public hearing.
The project is expected to be constructed in three phases. Phase 1 extends from Jeff Davis Drive south to FM 346. Phase 2 extends from FM 346 south to FM 344 in the City of Bullard. Phase 3 involves the construction of a grade-separated interchange at FM 346 and FM 756.
